Extra Credit
The following is worth extra credit points:
- Install the latest Firefox browser from www.mozilla.com/firefox on a computer. However, do a "Custom" install if you are using Windows and select "Developer Tools" to install the DOM inspector. Briefly describe your installation experience in your README.txt file. (1 point)
To verify the installation, use the tools menu to click on the DOM Inspector. If the developer version of Firefox is installed, a DOM Inspector window will open.
Note that Firefox for the Mac comes with the DOM Inspector already installed and that you do not need to do a custom install.
Also, I recommend that you install the Web Developer extension for Firefox. We installed this extension on the computers in the classroom and the CTC for your convenience.
- Install the Script Debugger for Internet Explorer and enable the script debugger. Briefly describe your installation experience in your README.txt file. (1 point)
Make certain that your README.txt file lists any extra credit attempted.

Grading Criteria
The instructor will evaluate your assignment using the following criteria. Each criteria represents a specific achievement of your assignment and has a scoring guide. The scoring guide explains the possible scores you can receive.
Some scoring guides have a list of indicators. These indicators are a sign of meeting, or a symptom of not meeting, the specific criterion. Note that a single indicator may not always be reliable or appropriate in a given context. However, as a group, they show the condition of meeting the criterion.
For information on grading policies, including interpretation of scores, see the course information page.
