Notes

Most classes will have a graded quiz. Please be present as there will be no make-ups except for the first week. However, I will throw out the lowest two quiz scores in determining the final grade. The quiz may include the reading material assigned.

The "Read Before Class" column contains the textbook information that should be read before class. Assigned reading is fair material for quizzes.

Homework assignments are due at the beginning of class unless otherwise stated on the assignment. I will not accept late assignments because assignment solutions are posted. However, it is possible to improve assignment scores by completing extra credit work. Please see the instructor if you are interested in extra credit work. If you are going to miss class, then you should arrange to turn in your homework before class starts. For paper-based homework, I have a mailbox in the CTC.
