Server-Side Scripting Technology Comparisons
Four scripting languages tried and tested: From zdnetindia.com circa October 2000. One of the more balanced comparisons of the major server-side scripting frameworks. However, note that Java has made significant performance improvements with their HotSpot compiler since this article was published.
