IR&T Resource Center by Vera Algoet: "The Instructional Resources & Technology Department of the Monterey County Office of Education has a Resource Center that provides low-cost materials and tools for the use of school employees and community members...I have created a database-backed searchable web listing of the die-cuts by subject, which customers can use either to create a "shopping list" for when they come into the Center to work, or simply to look up the information on a computer in the Center."

Online Edition of Santa Cruz Small Business Monthly by Eric Brusven: "The purpose of my final project is to present an online version of a new magazine for local small businesses called the Santa Cruz Small Business Monthly. The website contains all articles and images that are published each month in the printed version of the magazine and is divided in to sections. The user may search for articles in the archive by date, author, section name and keyword. The site offers users a number of forms including those that allow them to subscribe to the magazine and to place an advertisement."

Portfolio Website by David Fierstein: "This database will enable a portfolio website where I can easily add or remove artwork to show on an online portfolio, and be able to categorize the artwork, adding each piece into one or more categories. The database will be used to populate the menus that will be used to navigate the site, as well as descriptive text, text to help search engines find the site, and links to images."

Picture Organizer by Meghann Sallee: "Picture Organizer is a used to store information about, and search images on my website (http://www.purenarcissism.com). It also has a guestbook feature, where registered users can leave comments on a guestbook page, and an admin section, which only those with allowed user names can access."

Student Feedback by Katsuhito Sugano: "My project is to track feedbacks of registered students who grade the instructors based on various criteria and to provide reports on the accumulated opinions. Each student can vote only once for a class and the identity is kept secret. The survey is stored in a database. The vote tallies are displayed graphically and statistically."

Online Fiction Engine by Astrid Atkinson: "This application is a content directory, which stores listings for stories and documents from many sites in a central location, and provides a way for site staff to annotate listings with additional information about the story."

BiobibNet by Leslie Clark and Nancy Degnan: "BiobibNet is a web application that allows the creation, maintenance, viewing, and printing of faculty biobibliographies."

Contact Manager by Joe Cutter: "This project is an Internet-accessible, group-oriented contact database."

Music Collection by Johan Dowdy: "(This project is) a Web Frontend to manage a database of my entire music collection. I ... track specific details such as Artist, Label, Media Format, and Genre."

Rage Pacific by Kevin Lau: "This is a game database and web application frontend that is designed with ease of use for both players and game staff, with web accessibility and security in mind. The application meant is to allow anyone authorized, not just a webmaster, to make changes as needed for simple game logistics and provide a dynamically generated site that was as hassle-free for the user as possible."

Tech Support Tracking Ssytem by Linnea Leopold: "Create a database that will contain information about the computers on a school campus. With this database computers can be added, modified, deleted and queried. Users will be able to place service requests for their technology needs to the computer media specialist and these requests will be logged. Solutions to these problems will be queryable."

lindbergProject by Neil Lindberg: "My site is a realestate search portal. One cannot get in w/o registering their userName, password and email."

Nantsy Pants -- Interactive Pants Designer by Nancy Marquardt: "Nantsy Pants uses a MySQL database to keep track of colors, pants designs, and login users. The website allows users and guests to interactively design pants using php images."

Joe's Record Emporium by Tom Melkonian: "My project is to create an online store for a friend who would like to sell used musical recordings online. The idea is for him to be able to add items to the database using a form and for visitors to the web site to be able to search the database and use a shopping cart to purchase items with a link to PayPal."

CST Analysis by Carole Parkinson: "The purpose of my project is to provide my school district with a way to query test scores from state standardized tests."

Jikoji Reservation System by Ted Tripp: "Jikoji (Light of Compassion Temple), a Zen Buddhist Retreat and Meditation Center located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, offers its facilities to groups and individuals for group and private retreats... The goal of the reservation system is to manage user rental information, i.e. To collect data, make reservations, and calculate fees."

Club Decorator Web Application by Robert Vandenberg: "This application is for jugglers to use as an aid in ordering club colors and decorations from Renegade Juggling, an juggling and fire equipment supply company. Users may select various combinations of decorative elements and have them displayed in a composite image. If users elect to register and login, they additionally may save or delete selections from a list to quickly display their ideas."
