Announcements appear on this page during the course. 5/02: This is a reminder that 5/6 is the last day to withdraw from a course. 4/20: This is a reminder that exercise 10.3 is optional. 4/06: This is a reminder that exercise 9.4 is optional. 3/31: Some people have noticed that the database.sql file loses the auto_increment setting when saved in MySLQ 4.0 compatibility mode. This is apparently a bug in MySQL and you need to be careful when exporting and reimporting your database -- you may have to manually correct the auto-increment fields of your database. Note that this will be a problem when you move your database to your ISP. As a work around for now, please list all the auto-incremented fields in your README.txt file so I can manually add them as needed. 3/10: WebCT and email is scheduled to be down for maintenance from 5:00 PM to about 7:30 PM today (Friday). 2/14: This is a reminder that you can retake Quiz 1 if you are not happy with your initial score. 2/14: WebCT accounts should be available about 2 working days after you enroll in the course. If you have trouble logging in to WebCT after enrolling, please email or call me for help. Your initial WebCT password should be STUDENT. If STUDENT does not work, and you had a WebCT account last semester, you should try to login with your old password. If all else fails, I can reset your password.
