Announcements appear on this page during the course. 5/01: I extended the due date for assignments 9 and 10 by about a week. Please see WebCT for the exact date and time. However, you must turn in the assignments to WebCT. I do not accept assignment by email. 4/26: I extended the due date for assignment 9 to Saturday at 11:00 PM. 4/19: On 4/26, your instructor will be out of town at a conference. Steve Hammond will be conducting class in my place. Please welcome him warmly and treat him respectfully. 4/09: New tutoring hours in the Mesa Center for Slade Villena: Monday: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM Friday: 9:00 AM - whenever Slade has also volunteered to help on weekends. You just need to email him to set up a time: zaitsev at hydracorps dot org (email spelled out to protect from spammers). 3/30: The midterm is graded and you can view your score and questions in WebCT. 3/07: Need tutoring? A tutor can help you understand programming concepts and give you ideas for solving homework problems. Slade Villena has volunteered to tutor Java and C++ students in the MESA center on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 10:45 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Look for the man with the red hair. 2/27: For Machintosh computer users: I posted some instructions for installing g++ for the Mac. Please let me know how the instructions work for you.
