10/26: I added a clarification to the specification for A7: Tic-Tac-Toe on checking valid moves. In addition, I added a hint for the extra credit.

10/9: I made an error in the instructions for A5: Clothing Sizer. The parameters for the methods should have been specified as type double. I have updated the assignment and provided an updated test program as well. Sorry for any confusion.

10/6: This is a reminder that running the Javadoc tool for in-class exercise 6.4 is optional and extra credit. You still need to document the code, but will get extra credit if you use the Javadoc tool to create the web pages and then submit the Power.html file.

10/3: Some of you may be wondering if there is some automatic way to check the style of your homework assignments before you turn in your code. Well there is! There is a free program called CheckStyle that I discuss it briefly at: Automatic Style Checking. Also, I explain how to install CheckStyle for both TextPad and jEdit.

Note that both our classroom and the CTC computers have CheckStyle installed for use with TextPad.

9/30: I decided to make showing one decimal point an extra-credit item for A3: Conversions. The reason is that we did not cover this item in lecture.

9/20: CodeLab is misreporting completion of exercises to me. I have contacted customer support. I am sorry about and mismarking I will regrade in the next day or two (once CodeLab provides a solution).

9/15: As a reminder, you are to study section 3.4 on your own and I will answer any questions at the beginning of the next class. Also, we will finish exercise 3.3 in class. Exercise 3.4 is optional and extra credit. There is no change to CodeLab.

9/13: I made some changes to the lesson 3 material. Do not let the changes bother you. We will review them in class on Wednesday. Also, note that CodeLab exercises due today are extended to Wednesday at the start of class.
